function dot(a: Vector3DTupleType, b: Vector3DTupleType): number;

Compute the dot product of two 3D vectors.

$$\mathbf{a}\cdot \mathbf{b}=a_x{b}_x+a_y{b}_y+a_z{b}_z$$

Parameters

Returns

Dot product (units: product of the input component units).
