I am a Web Designer and Developer with a forthcoming Bachelor Degree in Information Technology. My residence now is at Aller Internett AS (AI) as a Web Developer. AI is the biggest digital media house in Norway with sites that reaches over 2 125 000 unique visitors in a week with sites like DinSide.no , SeHer.no , ITavisen.no and Digi.no

personal bio

I was born and raised in Bærum, a municipality neighbouring Oslo. After finishing off my military service in Stavanger I moved back home to finish my Bachelor degree within Information Technology at The Norwegian School of Information Technology, NITH .

Today, I am 25 years old and living with my girlfriend, Marthe Helgesen.

This blog is the ongoing product of my pendatic creativity. I started it some years ago to have a place to throw out my thoughts and views on certain things, and to show off my growing web development knowledge.

web standards

I am trying to make a web page as accessible as possible. To do this, I follow the Section 508 and WCAG standards to back up the XHTML 1.1 Strict and CSS I code.

browser support

Currently, all the major browsers are compatible with this site. I am currently undergoing tests on other operative systems and peripherals to ensure full compatibility. For best possible viewing, use a Gecko-based browser, such as Firefox .

content management

This blog is coded from scratch. It is not currently using any CMS, but I am working on a blog software project that's based on this blog.

phun-ky.net has 3 feeds available for syndication. I have an atom feed , a rss feed and a rdf feed . The links are available from the home page.

typography

The fonts used on this blog is two sans-serif typefaces from Max Miedinger and Matthew Carter. The fonts are Helvetica and Verdana .

tools

I have only used notepad Gedit and Quanta+ as an editor via FTP to code the XHTML/CSS on this blog. The few graphic items on this blog that I've made is drawn in The Gimp and Adobe Flash Professional 8 . This blog is hosted by ServeTheWorld and running on a LAMP system (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP).
