Jan'alai down guild first!

After having difficulty getting a group together to whoop some huge fannies in the form of Gruul and Maggie, it was decided to go and have Zul'Aman another go.

The group consisted of none other than:


As the Eagle boss was already pushing daisies and singing in hell (Which I imagine is a small bird cage filled with midgets (aka heaven for Drex), we went on to tackle the Bear boss. Clearing up to our fury friend, it was obvious that we had 2 mages. The packs went down with the tanks only having to manage one mob a tank, simply because all the rest was under strict CC.

The bear boss got us some agro problems for the tanks. I inadvertently took over aggro on some occasions, died when I was thwated with 4 4,5K hits in about as many seconds. However, DPS was quite good during all of the attempts which translated in a swift kill once the aggro was sorted. He dropped [Pauldrons of Primal Fury] which was dissed.

Since there was no chance for the timed event (eagle boss was down and even if he wasn't, our less then clean kill of Nalorakk wouldn't have allowed it), so we decided to give the dragonhawk boss a go. We whiped once on our way to the boss as a result of pulling 3 or maybe even 4? groups on our way. We quickly got it together and made our way up to the boss.

After some quick tactics by Stabsie, we had our first try on the boss. People got to know the boss in that first try and it was decided that we'd let multiple eggs spawn in one go. This, of course was due to a phenomenal Pally Tank, Malkar. With that setup we went through the eggs like nothing, resulting in getting him in the middle to do the actual bosskilling when the soft enrage had not even begun yet. Some people died of the bombs (I also came close once, but was healed up before I could blink, Big thanks to the healers wink.gif), but we managed to get just enough DPS and healers alive to finish him of, mere seconds before his hard enrage timer went off. The drop was rather disappointing:, [Helm of Natural Regeneration] Going to Drex as it still was a little upgrade for him.

Anxious to finish off Lynx as well, we all ran down the stairs without even getting a screenie. Luckily, Malk went to take proof of this guild first kill.

The clearing to the Lynx boss was pretty uneventful, some people dying and getting ressed (and Glairn proving that he is as adept in having his warrior killed as he does for his mage). I think we only Had 2-3 goes on the Lynx, before he aswell bit the dust, dropping the [Shoulderpads of Dancing Blades] which I got as Vesten didn't need.
